PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive pipe joint having excellent mountability. SOLUTION: The pipe joint includes: a hollow elastic seal member 110 in which pipes 10, 20 are inserted; casings 141, 151 for covering the outer periphery of the elastic seal member 110; clamping means for compressing the elastic seal member 110; and a deformation control means 130 which is arranged in the elastic seal member 110 to control the deformation of the elastic seal member 110 so that the seal member 110 exerts pressing force for sealing.
