PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the method for allocating a dynamic sub-channel of a broadband wireless access system. SOLUTION: The method for allocating the dynamic sub-channel for communication between a transmitter and a receiver in a communication system comprising a communication channel having a plurality of sub-channels, comprises steps of: receiving a busy-signal of each sub-channel from the plurality of sub-channels at the transmitter; and selecting one or more sub-channels for a communication between the transmitter and the receiver by allocating a sub-channel for the communication, in the case the received busy-signal is equal to or greater than a first predetermine threshold and the sub-channel was used for a communication between the transmitter and the receiver in a preceding communication interval, or in the case the received busy-signal is equal to or less than a second predetermined threshold and the sub-channel is not used for a communication between the transmitter and the receiver in a preceding communication interval.
