<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a near infrared absorbing filter in which at least one near infrared absorbing pigment is contained or dispersed uniformly at a high concentration and which has high performance and durability, and can be used in a plasma display, a CCD camera or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The near-infrared absorbing filter is constituted of a polycarbonate resin, containing a repeating unit expressed by Formula (1), and at least one pigment having near infrared absorption ability. In the Formula (1), Z represents a cycloalkylidene group which may have a 5-7C substituent; R<SP>1a</SP>and R<SP>1b</SP>represent the same or different alkylene chains or halogen atoms; and m1 and m2 represent the same or different integers of 0 to 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
