<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood-type golf club head where hitting feeling is improved as much as possible considering a joint part exposed to an outer periphery by considering the kind of an adhesive and its application section in the case of forming the golf club head by a method of joining a component with an adhesive. <P>SOLUTION: The golf club head has a metallic head body 20 provided with opening parts K1 and K2 while bridged supporting parts F1 and F2 are left at any place of only a crown part or the crown part and a face part. A fiber reinforced resin component covering the opening parts while covering the bridge-state supporting bodies is joined with the adhesive not including metallic powder while permitting not using of the adhesive between the bridged supporting parts F1 and F2 in a range where the edge part of a joining boundary with the bridge-state supporting parts is not exposed to the outer periphery of the golf club head. At the joining boundary F3 where the edge part is not exposed to the outer periphery of the golf club head, in an area near the edge part including the edge part at least, the head body and the component are joined with the adhesive containing the metallic powder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
