<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information relating to a notification object by thinking much of the intention of a driver. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle peripheral information device is provided with a vehicle peripheral information acquiring means (image pickup means 10) for acquiring vehicle peripheral information; a notification object detection means 21 for detecting a notification object 61 to a driver in the periphery of a vehicle based on vehicle peripheral information from the vehicle peripheral information acquiring means (image pickup means 10); a display means 30 for displaying the information of the notification object 61 detected by the notification object detecting means 21; a detection reliability deciding means 22 for deciding the detection reliability of the notification object 61 detected by the notification object detecting means 21 and an announcement information generating means 23 for generating announcement information(notification object frame 71, HUD frame 72) to a driver relating to the notification object 61 in response to the detection reliability. When the detection reliability of the notification object 61 is low, the announcement information generating means 23 is made to generate the announcement information(notification object frame 71) which hardly stimulates the driver's five senses as compared with the case that the detection reliability is high. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
