PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor capable of sufficiently suppressing generation of peeling between a cured phenol resin film and the adjacent layer during long-term use, when the cured phenol resin film made by curing a composition including phenol resin is provided. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic photoreceptor provided with a conductive support 3 and a photosensitive layer 6 disposed on the conductive support 3, the photosensitive layer 6 includes a first layer made by thermosetting a first resin composition containing the phenol resin and a second layer disposed adjacent to the first layer and consisting of a second resin composition containing an alcohol-soluble thermoplastic resin.
