PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cowling of a motorcycle capable of efficiently ventilating hot air confined in the cowling. SOLUTION: This cowling has an exhaust system 25 composed of a plurality of first exhaust pipes 26 derived forward from an exhaust port opening on a front face of an engine unit 18 mounted on a central lower part of a vehicle body frame 2, aggregation parts 27 and 28 aggregating these first exhaust pipes 26, a second exhaust pipe 29 connected to the downstream side of these aggregation parts 27 and 28 and passing through under an oil pan 21 arranged in a lower part of the engine unit 18, and an exhaust expansion chamber 30 connected to the downstream side of this second exhaust pipe 29, arranged under a rear wheel suspension device 17 arranged in the rear of the engine unit 18 in a vehicle side view and extending in the lateral direction of a vehicle body; and has a front cowling 38 covering the engine unit 18 and the exhaust system 25 connected to this engine unit 18 from a lower part and a side part. An air exhaust port 53 is opened in a bottom surface of the rear end of the front cowling 38 positioned on a front under surface of the exhaust expansion chamber 30. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
