PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a correction pen for a planographic printing plate, the pen that can reliably correct an unnecessary portion of a printing area on a planographic printing plate and gives preferable printing durability and no fringe contamination, and to provide a method for correcting a planographic printing plate material. SOLUTION: The correction pen for a printing area on a planographic printing plate material is charged with a correction liquid containing an organosilica sol, a hydrophobic resin, a hydrophilic resin and a water-soluble titanium compound.
