PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording head system to which bulk power can be supplied without increasing a mechanical load of a recording head. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the recording head system, a head holding frame 50 has a pair of mutually opposed side walls 50a which have insulating members 56 secured thereto in a longitudinal direction, so that rear surfaces (lower surfaces) of the insulating members 56 make contact with inner surfaces of the pairing side walls 50a, respectively. Then bus bars 54 each having almost the same size (length and width) as that of the insulating members 56 are abutted on and secured to front surfaces (upper surfaces) of the pairing insulating members 56, respectively. The recording head BK1 has a pair of power feeding electrodes BK1d formed therein, which are located at locations that make contact with the respective bus bars 54 when the recording head BK1 is mounted in the head holding frame 50.
