<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new bed related to a welfare apparatus capable of preventing a bedsore in a bedridden aged person, etc., and solving problems in a conventional bed. <P>SOLUTION: A multi-surface supporting bed comprises: a plurality of first hollow bodies 2 which are extended in the horizontal direction of the bed with an internal space closed therein and are arrayed to be mutually in parallel and perpendicular to a human body; a plurality of second hollow bodies 3 which are arranged in the lower or upper part of the first hollow bodies, extended in the vertical direction of the bed with the internal space closed therein, and arrayed to be mutually in parallel and parallel with the human body; pins 4 which are freely and vertically movable and whose lower end contacts the top part of each first or second hollow body respectively at each position where the first hollow body crosses with the second hollow body; and a control means for controlling the inner pressure of the first and second hollow bodies.
