PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the other lamp goes out as well if one lamp is removed in two-lamp series rapid start system, losing function as a lighting fixture, although the other lamp does not go out even if one lamp is removed in a two-lamp parallel lighting system, with a two-lamp fluorescent lamp fixture that employs a magnetic circuit type ballast, for saving energy. SOLUTION: In the fluorescent lamp fixture, one of two fluorescent lamps, connected in series, is shortened to turn on the other lamp. Across the sockets of one lamp, a fluorescent lamp is loaded in which one pin of an electrode is shortened with one pin of the electrode on the other end using an insulated electric wire pasted on a tube surface in length direction of the tube, while across the sockets of the other lamp, a normal fluorescent lamp is loaded, so only one lamp among two fluorescent lamps is illuminated.
