PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable recording medium capable of preventing influence on correction data (post codes) adjacent in a track crossing direction with each other and stably recording and reproducing data without remarkably reducing the recording capacity of a user data area by the arrangement of the correction data, and an information storage device, as regards the information storage device for controlling the positioning of a head on the basis of the correction data for correcting the error of servo signals. SOLUTION: In the recording medium wherein the correction data for correcting the position deviation of a recording or/and reproducing head caused by the error of the servo signals are recorded, the correction data of adjacent tracks are shifted in the track direction of the recording medium so as not to be adjacent in a recording area and recorded, and the correction data include the data for correcting the servo signals of a plurality of servo frames.
