PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce transfer load in transferring photographed images from an imaging apparatus capable of photographing high-resolution images to another apparatus capable of displaying high-resolution images. SOLUTION: In a standard operation condition, a receiving means receives low-quality image data for all regions of the photographed image from the imaging apparatus. If the image data received by the receiving means includes high-quality image data for a region of a target portion of the photographed image, the display means displays the region of the target portion with a high-quality image on the basis of the high-quality image data.
