<p>The rotor consists of a hub (13) and at least two blades (14 - 17) articulated about pitch (14a, - 17a), flapping and drag axes that meet at a centre of articulation, and fixed to a pitch lever (26 29) connected via a first ball joint to a control lever. It also has a drag damping system that is fixed to a lateral projection on each blade by a second ball joint (31 - 34) that is sufficiently close to the first to reduce, if not eliminate, its sensitivity to blade flap oscillations. The damping system is also fixed to the free end of each blade's pitch lever by the second ball joint.</p> |
