TIN-CONTAINING INDIUM OXIDE NANOPARTICLE, ITS DISPERSED SOLUTION, AND ITS PRODUCTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crystalline or amorphous tin-containing indium oxide nanoparticle with a small average particle size and having an infrared shielding effect by a simple process, and its production method. SOLUTION: This method for producing the tin-containing indium oxide nanoparticle comprises irradiating a laser light on a solution with tin-containing indium oxide particles dispersed therein to cause laser ablation on the tin-containing indium oxide particles in the solution, thus forming the tin-containing indium oxide nanoparticles with a smaller average particle size than that of the tin-containing indium oxide particles before irradiation of the laser light and of infrared shielding nature.
