<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method, an image processing apparatus, and a program enabling easily creating a high accuracy monitor profile. <P>SOLUTION: A display order of two or more display colors for measurement object and timing of displaying display colors for compensation are set and displayed on image display equipment according to the set display order. Here, the colorimetric values of the two or more display colors are compensated by measuring the two or more display colors and those for compensation displayed thereon by a colorimeter and using the white and black colorimetric values of the display colors for compensation corresponding to the respective colorimetric values of the two or more display colors. Further, a display profile is created by calculating display colors of the two or more display colors after compensation from the compensated colorimetric values, creating a gray scale characteristic table of each color from the two or more compensated display colors, and creating color conversion from the compensated colorimetric values. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
