<p>A liquid crystal display includes a substrate (100) and a plurality of pixel electrodes (PE) that are formed on the substrate (100), each of the pixel electrodes (PE) including first and second subpixel electrodes (PEa,PEb), wherein the first and second subpixel electrodes (PEa,PEb) are adjacently disposed in a lateral direction.
