A security system on a wireless LAN system and a security method thereof are provided to set an encryption key and a certificate on a wireless LAN terminal and a wireless LAN access point without input of a user by managing the encryption key and the certificate with a key management server. In a security system on a wireless LAN system, a key management server(120) stores an encryption key and a certificate for system security. The key management server(120) provides a device with the encryption key and the certificate when the encryption key and the certificate are requested. A wireless LAN terminal(100) requests the corresponding encryption key and certificate to the key management server(120) when the encryption key and the certificate are requested. A wireless LAN access point(110) requests the corresponding encryption key and certificate to the key management server(120) when the encryption key and the certificate are requested.
