The pump has an outer casing unit including a liquid flow chamber and a depressurization passage with an inlet connected to the outlet part of the chamber and an outlet connected to a liquid guide surface inside the inlet part of the chamber. A cog wheel can be rotated in order to transport liquid from the inlet part to the outlet part of the chamber and once the pressure in the outlet part reaches a threshold value, a pressure relief valve is activated so that liquid is returned from the outlet part to the inlet part via the passage, resulting in liquid being injected from the guide surface in the inlet part onto the cog wheel, assisting its rotation. |
