The pump has a positioning device (11) for changing eccentricity of a ring (3) relative to a rotor (4), where the device (11) consists of a pressure chamber (12) between an exterior side (13) of the ring and a wall (14) in a pump housing (2). The pressure chamber is separated and tangentially spaced from another pressure chamber (15) using a sealant fluid, where pressure in both the chambers is controlled by a pressure compensated flow control valve (16). High and low pressure chambers (17, 20) stay in connection with respective control lines (18, 21) on a side of a measuring orifice (19).
