<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical and concrete application method for applying a powder adhesive to a practical postcard for pressure bonding, constituted according to the concrete formula of a material. <P>SOLUTION: Two kinds of powder adhesives, a powder adhesive A, which is mainly composed of a polyester resin with a softening point of 120°C, and a powder adhesive B, which is mainly composed of a hydrocarbon-base resin with a softening temperature of 110±4°C, are prepared. The powder adhesives A and B are stored in the two developing devices 9 of a powder adhesive applicator 1 which comprises image forming parts 2 and 3 equipped with a photoconductor drum 6, an electrizer 7, a recording head 8, the developing devices 9 and a developing roller 11, a carrying belt 12, a fixing device 4, and a duplex-printing and carrying mechanism 5. The powder adhesives A and B are transferred and fixed to two surfaces to be pressure-bonded, on the front side of the threefold postcard for pressure bonding, in which confidential information has already been printed; the postcard is turned upside down by the mechanism 5; and the powder adhesives A and B are transferred and fixed to two surfaces to be pressure-bonded, on the backside of the postcard.
