PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for energy expansion of particle beams for particle treatment equipment, which is constituted so as to have resistance against damage and take no place. SOLUTION: The device for energy expansion of the particle beams for the particle treatment equipment is provided with a surface-structured expansion element 13 made of flexible material, and the expansion element is movable between an irradiation position 17 of the particle beam and a waiting position 19 depending on its deformability.
