PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an automatic train drive unit that can perform stable fixed-point stop control even if the actual deceleration of a train is changed from a value at adjustment. SOLUTION: A train speed, train acceleration and a remaining travel distance are operated by a speed/acceleration/remaining travel distance operation part 5, a target pattern is operated from the result of the operation by referring to target pattern deceleration at each station accommodated in a per-station patternβaccommodation part 9 by a target pattern operation part 8, a brake notch is selected by a brake notch selection part 10 on the basis of the target patter and the train speed, the brake notch and a train travel locus are stored in a travel locus/brake storage part 12, the stored brake notch and the train travel locus are analyzed by a patternβcorrection part 13, and the target pattern deceleration at each station stored in the per-station patternβaccommodation part 9 is corrected by using the result of the analysis, thus performing the further proper fixed-point stop control on and from the next travel.
