The invention relates to compounds of the general formula (Ia) or (Ib), wherein A is a saturated or monounsaturated heterocyclic ring with 4 to 8 members which contains one or two nitrogen atoms, and their tautomeric forms, possible enantiomeric and diastereomeric forms, as well as possible physiologically acceptable salts and their use for treating diseases related to a pathologically increased activity of PARP.
