<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a baking repairing material, which reuses MgO-Cr<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>-based waste bricks and is used for the hot repairing of an AOD (Argon Oxygen Decarburization) furnace, and to provide a hot repairing method of the AOD furnace using the baking repairing material. <P>SOLUTION: In the baking repairing material, the MgO-Cr<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>-based waste bricks which are crushed and size-regulated so that their particle diameters are within the range of 0.3-20 mm, is blended by 20-70 mass% therein. The MgO-Cr<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>-based waste bricks preferably contain 10-30 mass% Cr<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>and 60-85 mass% MgO. Further coal tar pitch is blended by 10-20 mass% therein. The powdery baking repairing material adaptable to the operation condition and the repairing condition of the AOD furnace is obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
