PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage-converting unit, capable of assuring the driving capability of a specified level, regardless of the changes in the working temperature, and to provide a display device that is equipped with the same. SOLUTION: The voltage converting unit includes a conversion module part 310 which outputs a gate drive pulse PGD, in response to an input external voltage; a temperature-compensating part 340 which generates a reference voltage VSD by controlling an applied initial reference voltage VSD_O, based on the temperature environment; a first gate drive signal generating part 350 which outputs a first gate drive signal Von, in response to the gate drive pulse PGD from the converting module part 310 and the reference voltage VSD from the temperature-compensating part 340; and a second gate drive signal generating part 360 which outputs a second gate drive signal Voff, in response to the gate drive pulse PGD from the conversion module part 310 and the ground potential GND.
