PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a homogenizer which facilitates the charging of the next storing bag containing a sample by truing up a stoppage position of a paddle, further, stabilizes a paddle speed and achieves a higher speed and a high reliability of inspection. SOLUTION: The homogenizer is provided with: a light shielding plate 40 as a rotation displacement detecting mechanism for detecting a rotation displacement of a rotation axis 12 of a drive part 10; and a photo-interrupter 50 for detecting the slit. A control part 15 for controlling the drive part 10 has at least one of a paddle positioning controlling part of two paddles upon the stoppage and a paddle speed controlling part. When the control part 15 has the paddle positioning controlling part, pressing surfaces 30a of two paddles 30 are trued up substantially on the same flat plane upon the stoppage and, therefore, the charging of the next storing bag containing a sample is facilitated. When the control part has the paddle speed controlling part, the control part is controlled in a predetermined paddle speed irrespective of a load change, therefore, crushing conditions become constant to facilitate the acquisition of systematic data.
