PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple ink ribbon cassette capable of obviating the need of adjusting a back tension of a supply side, retaining stable conveyance of an ink ribbon, solving the problem of rising of the ink ribbon out of its orbit, and maintaining good printing quality in the ink ribbon cassette to which each of ink ribbons having different diameters can be attached. SOLUTION: A diameter of a core at the winding side is greater than that of a core at the supplying side. As the diameter of the core at the winding side having a small winding amount is made greater than the diameter of the core at the supplying side having a large winding amount, it is possible to obviate the need of setting the back tension at the supplying side according to the respective winding amount.
