<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide plate suppressing generation of a dark part area caused by directivity of a light source to show a bright and uniform luminance, and having an improved use efficiency of light. <P>SOLUTION: This light guide plate has: a light incident surface allowing incidence of light irradiated from the light source; a reflection surface reflecting the light incident on the light incident surface; and a light emitting surface emitting the light reflected on the reflection surface. The reflection surface has a prism for reflecting the light from the light source, the prism has a sawtooth slant angle disposed at prescribed intervals, the slant angle of the prism comprises a first slant angle of a slope of the prism facing to the light source and a second slant angle of a slope of the prism on the opposite side thereto, the first slant angle is set such that it becomes large as it goes away from the light incident surface, and the second slant angle is set such that it becomes large as it goes away from a side face opposite to the light incident surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
