摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording method of highly reliable BCA data to a storage medium, to provide the storage medium, to provide a reproducing method of BCA data from the storage medium and to provide a storage medium manufacturing apparatus.

SOLUTION: The thickness of a film material for use in a recording layer oriented to BCA data or close to the inner periphery of the storage medium in the vicinity thereof is formed in uniform thickness by using a substrate of the storage medium formed by being sucked by means of sucking mechanisms 71 and 72 formed in an arc shape so as to integrate two of the sucking mechanisms adjacent to each other. Therefore, the information recorded in a BCA (burst cutting area) or recorded close to the inner periphery of the storage medium in the vicinity thereof can be recorded accurately and stably.
