PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a failure detection circuit capable of detecting the failure of a diode occurrence of which is difficult to know immediately, and to provide a load drive system. SOLUTION: A diode logical sum connection circuit 10 comprises diodes 11, 12 and 13 connected in parallel and having one ends connected commonly with a power supply body section 20 and the other ends connected, respectively, with input terminals T1, T2 and T3. Anodes of the diodes 11, 12 and 13 are connected, respectively, to the input terminal T1, T2, T3 side and the input terminals T1, T2 and T3 are connected, respectively, with a first power supply P1, a second power supply P2 and a third power supply P3. The failure detection circuit 30 is connected across the diode 11 in the diode logical sum connection circuit 10, for example, and outputs a detection signal 32A when a detection voltage V1 is a positive integer and its absolute value is smaller than a set value e.
