<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To update a dictionary while suppressing increase of a load on electronic equipment, a server and a communication path by transmitting only data to be added to the dictionary. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic equipment 3 decides whether update timing is reached or not in a step S110, the process proceeds to a step S120 when the update timing is reached, the electronic equipment 3 transmits product information to the server 1, and the server 1 transmits update information corresponding to the received product information to the electronic equipment 3.
