<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adequately output an image according to an image output request even when image output requests from two systems are in conflict with each other. <P>SOLUTION: A one-on-one communication means 41 of an image output device 1 receives an image output request by a peer-to-peer type first communication protocol from a first image output requesting device 3 for requesting output of an image according to image data. A control information production means 43 produces control information for outputting the image according to the image output request. A network communication means 6 receives an image output request from a second image output requesting device 2 through a communication network 4 in a second communication protocol. A conversion means 6 converts the image output request in the second communication protocol to the image output request in the first communication protocol. An exclusive control means 40a exclusively selects one of the image output requests when the image output requests from the first and second image output requesting devices 3, 2 are in conflict with each other, and then permits the control information production means 43 to process the selected image output request. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
