PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonograph which can reduce noise influences and perform accurate nature measurement. SOLUTION: The ultrasonograph comprises a transmitting part 14 driving an ultrasonic probe 13 for transmitting ultrasonic sounds to living tissue, a receiving part 15 receiving ultrasonic reflection waves from the living tissue using the ultrasonic probe 13, a phase detection part 17 phase-detecting receiving signals and generating phase detection signals from a plurality of subject measurement positions set on the living tissue, and a calculation part 19 where a plurality of regions of a plurality of the subject measurement positions are set in the living tissue, a mean phase detection signal is calculated through a space mean process of the phase detection signals of each region, a barycentric position of the mean phase detection signal from the size of the phase detection signal at the subject measurement position in each of the regions is obtained, and at least one of a displacement amount of a plurality of the subject measurement locations, thickness variation between two of a plurality of the subject measurement locations, amount of distortion, and elastic property is obtained.
