PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce and provide a ceramic with high far-infrared ray emissivity and to use it for far-infrared ray bathing, and for a heating plate as a heat source which makes rapid elevation of temperature and fine tuning, and stable infra-red ray bathing using high far-infrared ray emissivity. SOLUTION: The plate heating body 3 makes fine tuning of temperature possible to give immediate effectivity for elevation up to a suitable temperature without requiring heat-retention even in winter for more effective far infra-red bathing, therefore low cost set up and laying of the plate heating body with markedly effective construction is provided.
