PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound effective as an inhibitor of prenyltransferase, especially, of farnesyltransferase and geranylgeranyltransferase I, and as a carcinostatic, a process for producing these compounds, a pharmaceutical composition containing these compounds, and usage thereof. SOLUTION: This invention relates to a new peptide mimic compound comprising three amino acid components including a cysteinyl moiety, an aminobenzoic acid or aminonaphthoic acid moiety, methionine and the like, a composition containing the compound and usage thereof.
