An ink ribbon cassette is provided to naturally bite a rear end portion or a front end portion of a record paper by a paper feeding roller by conveying the record paper guided and conveyed to first and second paper guide sections in a flat shape. A ribbon withdrawal opening(4d) capable of withdrawing an ink ribbon(2) wound on a supply reel(3) is formed in the vicinity of a head insertion opening on a side of a first ribbon reception section(4) of an ink ribbon cassette(1). A ribbon winding opening capable of winding the ink ribbon withdrawn from the ribbon withdrawal opening on a winding reel is formed in the vicinity of a head insertion passing opening of a side of a second ribbon reception opening(7). The conveyed record paper is guided by first and second paper guide sections.
