A displacement sensor in a miniaturized camera module is provided to supply location information of a lens group necessary for auto-focusing and zooming functions only by detecting displacement according to steps, thereby ensuring quality of a photographed image with more improved resolution. In a displacement sensor which is installed in a lens actuator of a camera device of a miniaturized portable terminal and senses variation of location of the actuator, the actuator comprises the followings: a moveable part(12) which includes a lens group assembly, having plural lenses, within its center and moves; and a barrel(11) which surrounds the outside of the moveable part, supports movement of the moveable part and is fixed within the miniaturized portable terminal. The actuator further comprises the followings: one or more moveable part plane electrodes(14) formed in an external side of the moveable part; plural fixed-type plane electrodes(13) which are arranged at preset intervals in one internal side of the barrel as facing the one or more moveable part plane electrodes; a dielectric(16) which is flatly spread on the plural fixed-type plane electrodes; and leads which are respectively connected to the moveable part plane electrode and the fixed-type plane electrode, and are protruded to the outside.
