PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire improved in driving stability and ride comfort by relaxing a rigidity difference between block elements in the case of using pitch variation in the block elements formed in a tread part, and to provide a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: This pneumatic tire has a tread pattern formed by arranging a plurality of block elements 14, which are divided by grooves 12 and 13, in the tread part 1 in the tire circumferential direction, and changing pitch length of these block elements 14 along the tire circumferential direction. A projection part 15 relatively projecting from the inner surface of a butt-less part 2, in which a groove volume ratio per unit circumferential length of the tread part 1 is relatively large on the circumference, on the circumference thereof.
