<p>Reduction of vibration in a machine for production and/or finishing a material web and of the type having nip-forming roller pairs uses measures acting on at least one of the turning rollers, the measures involving repeatedly varying the rotational speed of the rollers. An independent claim is also included for apparatus effecting the vibration reduction and having a device for measuring the vibration (especially of the rollers), the device being connected to a control system.</p> |
