PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent inconvenience when joining and connecting mutual end parts, and to prevent the deterioration in production efficiency when continuously manufacturing a plurality of weatherstrips. SOLUTION: This weatherstrip 4 has a trim part 5 and a seal part 6. A variable holding lip part 16 is formed on a car inside side wall 11 of the trim part 5 fitted in a flange 23 of the door opening peripheral edge. The length of the variable holding lip part 16 is different in the lengthwise direction of the weatherstrip 4 according to the thickness of the flange 23. Here, since the lengths of the variable holding lip part 16 of a starting end part and a tail end part in the lengthwise direction of the weatherstrip 4 become the same length, the mutual starting end surface and tail end surface can be easily and accurately joined, and when trying to continuously obtain the plurality by extrusion molding, there is no need to perform useless extrusion. The length of the variable holding lip part 16 is adjusted to the large thickness side of the corresponding flange 23. |
