PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce time from the end of water supply to a water reservoir tank until the start of a washing process. SOLUTION: A washing chamber 13 is provided inside a dishwasher body 1 for storing objects to be washed. The water reservoir tank 2 is provided for storing washing water supplied outside the dishwasher 1. A heating tank 8 is provided for storing washing water supplied from the water reservoir tank 2 by a first water supply pump 6, and has a built-in heater 9 for heating the washing water. A second water supply pump 11 is provided for supplying heated washing water from the heating tank 8 to the washing chamber 13. The control means is provided for controlling so that, from the water reservoir tank 2 to the heating tank 8, water is supplied by the first water supply pump 6 in a quantity only required for the next washing process, and that the supplied water is heated by the heater 9 during current washing process.
