<p>[PROBLEMS] To provide a trapping device that enables safe use of attractants tending to, when ingested in human, pets, etc., cause poisoning therein, and that reduces maintenance management labor and consumable supplies, and that is free from generation of putrefactive smell of mollusks. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] There is provided a mollusk trapping device wherein in order to paralyze the sensory organ of mollusks to thereby lower the capability of risk aversion and thus cause them to fail to avert a substance capable of inducing a body fluid secretion reaction, the mollusks are caused to ingest an attractant disposed in the trapping device, or exposed to an aroma of attractant held in aroma retaining part (8), or both. The attractant is also used for paralyzing of the sensory organ. The mollusks having their sensory organs paralyzed would fail to avert a substance capable of inducing a body fluid secretion reaction and would die by dehydration or drowning. Putrefaction of the mollusks can be prevented by using 10 mass% or more supersaturated or granular chlorides as the substance capable of inducing a body fluid secretion reaction. For avoiding contact of human, pets, etc. with the attractant, breathable screen (19) through which only aroma can pass is disposed at an opening of attractant container (5).</p> |
