<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of measuring the impedance of a fuel cell without complicating control of a DC/DC converter, and a vehicle equipped with such a fuel cell system. <P>SOLUTION: A target power decision unit 110 determines the three-phase AC power corresponding to the required power in accordance with each sensor signal provided from an accelerator sensor as an example, and delivers such a power to an inverter 60 as a power command signal. The inverter 60 performs the switching control operation in accordance with the power command signal. This results in generation of the ripple proportional to the number of rotations of a motor 61, and appears on the FC voltage Vf detected by a voltage sensor 141 or the FC current If detected by a current sensor 142.
