PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous plate fence with favorable visibility which is excellent in the reduction of wind pressure, smart and novel in designability, and has landscape properties, and a construction method for the porous plate fence. SOLUTION: The porous plate fence comprises a plurality of supports 3 which are erected at intervals, and a perforated metallic plate 2 which is attached to the front part of the support. Many pores 6 are formed all over the metallic plate 2, and furring strips 4 and 5 which are molded in such shapes as to be bent along upper and lower edges are provided. A plurality of brackets 12 are joined to the support 3 in the vertical direction of the front surface of the support 3. A clearance adjusting plate 17 is arranged on the front surface of the support 3 and that of the bracket 12; the right and left edges 7 of the metallic plate 2 are applied to the front surface of the plate 17; and the bracket 12, and the plate 17 and the metallic plate 2 are connected to each other by a fastening implement.
