A handsfree device for a mobile terminal is provided to enable a user to easily notify that the mobile terminal receives a call even in case that the main body of the mobile terminal is put into a bag or a pocket or even in a noisy place. A handsfree device for a mobile terminal comprises an interface unit(100), a controller(200), a key inputting unit(300), a memory(400), a call arrival notification unit(500), and a voice processor(600). The interface unit(100) receives an incoming call signal from the mobile terminal. The controller(200) receives an incoming call signal from the interface unit(100), and outputs a control signal for recognizing receipt of a call to a corresponding block. The key inputting unit(300) generates each kind of a key signal matched with a key button operation of a user. The memory(400) stores sound data being used for receipt of a call matched with the incoming call signal. The call arrival notification unit(500) notifies the user that the mobile phone receives a call by receiving the control signal for recognizing receipt of the call and correspondingly driving a sound outputting unit(501). The voice processor(600) encodes electric voice signals received from a mike(601), outputs the encoded voice signals to the interface unit(100) via the controller(200), decodes encoded voice data inputted via the interface(100), decodes the voice data into electric voice signals, and outputs the decoded voice data to an earphone(602).
