<p>The device has a U-shaped main body (1). A first leg (2) of the body is ring-shaped and has a central seat bore for coupling to a press device (75), and the second leg may be coupled to various adapters (25), to press the joint (66) in and out. The adapter is e.g. a thrust piece, located between the second leg (3) and a bearing eye (65) holding the joint. This adjusts the distance between the two, so that the second leg, when fitted to the bearing eye, is located in the area of the bearing bore (62) of the bearing housing (61). The second leg is shorter than the ring-shaped first leg.</p> |
