A display device is provided to reduce the variation of current supplied to a backlight assembly, thereby making the brightness of screen uniform, by compensating for the leakage of current. A backlight assembly is configured to generate the light having a predetermined brightness. An inverter(170) converts an applied DC power into AC power, and then supplies the AC power to the backlight assembly. A current compensating part(180) compensates the AC power supplied to the backlight assembly from the inverter. The backlight assembly is composed of first, second, and third lamps(132-1,132-2,132-3), wherein the first and third lamps are disposed at both sides of the second lamp. |
