ROTOR AND SYNCHRONOUS RELUCTANCE MOTOR

A rotor and a synchronous reluctance motor having the same are provided to properly distribute a magnetic flux and increase a density of the magnetic flux by forming slits having different curvature around a shaft hole. A rotor includes a rotation shaft and a rotor core. The rotor core has a shaft hole for receiving the rotation shaft, plural slits(135,145,155) formed around the shaft hole to have a different curvature around a reference point, and plural strip portions(141) between the slits to form a magnet path between the slits. The rotor core has four magnetic poles along a circumference direction, and each of the magnetic poles has first to third slits.
