DOWNLOAD SYSTEM USED DESCRIPTOR INFORMATION FOR DOWNLOAD ITEMS

A download system using descriptor information is provided to enable a user to download corresponding items with one operation by using each descriptor information for the download items selected from the user. A descriptor information receiver(110) receives the descriptor information for each download item selected by the user from a server(20). An information processor(130) extracts URL(Uniform Resource Locator) and MIME(Multi-purpose Internet Mail Extension) type information from the descriptor information of each item, and packages/stores download control information including URLs by each MIME type. A download processor(140) sequentially downloads and stores each item from the URLs included in the download control information stored by the information processor. An error checker(120) checks an error of the descriptor information received by the descriptor information receiver and requests retransmission of the checked description information to the server.
